Getting better in Mortal Kombat 9: Komplete Edition ? PlayStation 3

Mortal Kombat was among the most popular games for Sega and even though the game failed to do justice to its reputation on console that followed, the developers have finally managed to create and deliver the experience through Mortal Kombat 9: Komplete Edition that the fans of the franchise had been desperately waiting for since the Sega days.

With a large character roster to choose from and the return of both new as well as new characters, which include Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax, Liu Kang, Raiden, Baraka, Mileena, Kitana, Jade, Sindel, Shang Tsung, Ermac, Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Smoke, and many more.

Pulling off the basic moves in the latest part of Mortal Kombat has been kept as simple as ever in order to facilitate the newbie players, but the developers had ensured that the hardcore gamers do not find the gameplay easy and consequently dull by including plenty of complicated juggles, which can take from days to weeks and even months to learn. Some of the juggles are hard to pull-off that more than 90 percent of the Mortal Kombat gamers will never get to pull them off.

If you are one of the many Mortal Kombat 9: Komplete Edition addicts, but are not that great at it, you can easily learn the game and take on the pros.

One of the first things that you need to do is to start playing the game as much as you can in your free time. Remember, practice is the key to getting better. After spending a few hours in the Training Mode to learn the basic moves and combos, start playing against the computer or another human player in order to learn when to execute a certain move or combo.

Another thing that you need to do is to start looking at the combo videos online. Visit websites such as YouTube and search for videos of characters that you want to learn playing with. Do not get discouraged if the videos show combos that are way too complicated. Just watch them and take your time learning them. It is important to remember that the person performing the combos in the videos did not learn them overnight. He would have surely spent countless hours learning different moves, linking them together and perfecting the timing of executing each action. Once you realise this, your motivation level will rise and you will be able to put in a greater deal of effort to learn from the combo videos on video sharing websites.

Aside from spending time in the Training Mode and watching videos online, try to learn something new in every match that you play. People normally rely on certain moves far more than other, If you closely observe your opponent, you will be able to learn how their preferred moves and then form an effective counter-strategy against them. Keep in mind that your opponent may be learning new moves and building new strategies from time to time. Therefore, it is really important for you to continue enhancing your skills as well.

Even though it is strongly recommended to pick a couple of characters and become experts with them, you will not be able to become a true master unless you learn to play with other characters as well. By playing with them, you will basically add their moves and capabilities to your knowledge. You can use this knowledge to beat then when your opponent has selected them.
