Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod Actually Supports Heavier DSLR Cameras

Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod Actually Supports Heavier DSLR Cameras

Manfrotto, known for their higher-quality camera stabilization gear, made a mini tripod actually worth using. Unlike the cheap options you'll find, it adjusts easily, won't break after moderate use, and still fits in your pocket.

The downside? It does add a little bulk. To make a mini tripod solid, it seems they needed to add a little extra heft. That said, the negligible size difference won't impact whether or not you can port this tiny guy around or not. The rotating head makes for easy adjustments, and a little push button can lock it in place once you have your camera right where you want it. Although designed for point-and-shoot cameras, this thing can handle DSLRs, too?just don't put a giant lens on it. You can get a crappy alternative for $8, but for $25 the Pixi is a mini tripod you can actually rely on.
