If you?re into competitive gaming, you might want a reminder that Major League Gaming?s Fall Championship begins tomorrow at the Dallas Convention Center. More than 1,500 players will be competing for more than?$180,000 in prizes throughout the weekend, and you can swing by to spectate in person or stream the matches live online.
The doors open for general spectators at 1:30 PM, and the show kicks off proper at 5:00 PM with the Opening Ceremonies. The games begin at ?5:30 PM.
It?s not all about watching games of StarCraft, League of Legends and Mortal Kombat, though. There are other things to do as a spectator, if you?re paying to come by in person. If you?d rather stay home and don?t mind a low definition stream quality, watching the matches online will be free.
This will also be one of your first chances to see Halo 4?s multiplayer in action before the game hits shelves next week. I?ve already reviewed Halo 4 and liked it quite a lot, and I think its multiplayer could make for a very worthwhile spectacle.
More details are available on the MLG website. The tournament runs?November 2-4.
